not as long as your doc says you're ok. Most of the time its perfectly fine... but it sure can be awkward with such a cumbersome belly LOL

Actually it can help to bring on labor if you're really close to starting labor already. There is a hormone in semen that helps to soften the cervix, same stuff as what medication they use in Cervadil... so some docs and mid wives actually prescribe sex to the overdue or full term mom !! LOL

So have at it! Can't have sex once the mucous plug goes and labor has begun though, due to risk of infection but who on earth would want to have sex during all those painful contractions... I don't know!!
