I am so confused about Pottermore....?

What you submitted your email for is for them to let you know when you can start registering for Pottermore in October.

Right now, this week, they're doing early registration. Each day, there will be a clue from each different book. It started today (in the wee hours of the morning) and the clue was from Sorcerer's Stone. Tomorrow is the second day so it will be from Chamber of Secrets, and so it goes on until the last book. With each book is a clue, as I said, and once you've found the clue (which is really just a question having to do with the assigned book) you answer it by placing it at the end of a web address, where you will be taken to the page with the quill, then redirected to the pottermore page where you can then register early. Afterwards, you'll get a confirmation email (which will not come right away in most cases) and it may take up to 2 weeks, but you will be able to access Pottermore early. Keep in mind, though, that there are only a certain number of spaces available per day, so you have to do the clue as quickly as possible, which also means staying up all night for some people (including me haha) to even see the clue.

from today July 31 to August 6th Pottermore will be leaving clues on the websites homepage at a certain time each day. Only for a certain time though! You must answer the clue correctly and when you do, you must put the answer at the end of this URL:

so if the answer is harry potter for example, the URL will be:

http://quill.pottermore.com/harrypotter

enter into your computer and itll take you to a page and if the answer is right, you find the quill right there and will be able to register early into Pottermore.

They send you a registration email to sign up but you wont get a welcome email for at least a few weeks!

You only have until August 6th though. If you haven't answered one correct by then, then you will have to wait until October 2011 when Pottermore is open to the public. You don't have to answer a question every day! You must answer one correctly in order to get the registration email. This grants you early admittance into Pottermore :)

There is a clue that comes on there sometime during the morning or day. The first clue last night came at about 4 A.M Eastern time.. and lasted for about 1 and a half hours. The next one might be a little more time convenient. The clue will be on the homepage. When you find the answer, you add your answer to the end of this url: quill.pottermore.com/whatever the answer is. and you can register then. You gotta be quick though!

once you sign up at pottermore you get this Congratulations! You’ve effectively verified your early get entry to Pottermore account. you would be between the fortunate few to shape the journey till now the area opens to all in October. you would be able to could wait some weeks on your Welcome digital mail to reach as we are able to’t enable all and sundry into the Beta website on the comparable time. we seem forward to seeing you. and all you're able to do is substitute your account data and it ability you're in.
