I want to start my own babysitting business please help?

All ideas are welcome. My main questions are, should i go through a site? How do i get known? I really need ideas, im in high school, but i have a really shifty schedule, so i thought babysitting would be a good idea for me, i just need to know what the best ways to get started are. I am planning on taking childcare next year, and that will be my last year of high school.

Thank you, for answering :)

Go with the basics.Make up a name and a slogan (ex. Brittany's Brilliant Babysitting Service and a slogan can be Brittany's Brilliant Babysitting Service is the Best). And if your name does not start with a B,just make sure it has alliteration.Alliteration is when there is the same letter at least 3 times in a sentence.People love tongue twisters. After you get all of the name and slogan thing worked out draw a simple picture around the name of your business, your slogan, and your name, phone number,or any other information you want your clients to know about.Make sure the picture is easy to draw so you can hang up posters all over town, like hearts around a cool way of writing.Printing copies of advertisements off of stuff like power-point is easy and looks great! Now that you've all the basic advertisements, get your parents involved. To get your business pumping, ask your parents if they can help you find business while they're at work.Let's say that your mom has a co-worker that has a five year old and she wants a Friday night out. You've just struck your first customer! You have to have a piece of paper to write down emergency numbers, health issues, and medicine doses.Find out fire routes.Your clients will be impressed on how mature you are for your concern and organization they'll hire you again.Plan the night. When you first get there, introduce yourself to the parents, receive information about the kid,and meet the kid while the parents are there so s/he don't get freaked out.Once the kid likes you,the parents can leave. After you get settled in,have a craft time.Have him/her make a card about why s/he loves him/her mom and dad.Once you get done with that, watch a movie or a TV episode. Now do something that either a guy or girl would like. You would play with trucks with a boy,and do a girls hair.If s/he gets tired have them take a nap.If not *sigh* then have snack time. And if that little 5 year old is still a ball of energy sing songs and dance.Keep making fun things up until the parents come home.Tell them you had a fun night, get your pay,and tell them you'll see them next time. Then when you leave their kid will give them their card and talk about how much fun they had.The parents will spread the news of how mature, organized, and how good with kids you are.

    Good Luck!
