do you need sims 3 base game to play the new sims 3 pets?
. or does sims 3 pets include the base game. im really interested in sims 3 pets on ps3. and im not sure if you need the sims 3 base game to play pets. also would the sims 3 pets include all the items and stuff from the sims 3.? thanx

Cannot wait for Sims 3 pets....................Its gonna be awesome, but if you want it on PS3, i take it you don't need the base game................PS3 doesn't work like that, only on PC.............I think you need the base game....................try and find a preview of the PS3 case online and see if it says expansion pack............that will give you your answer..............But don't take my word for it!

Yes you do. Currently only The Sims Midevil is the only game(other than 3, of course) that contains the core game.

i dont think you do,i had sims2 pets and i never needed the base game,its separate because this is about pets,&the base game is family(:
