We knew the TEA Party would be co-opted when Fox News started covering it. I agree with you, people who are for lower taxes should support the only politician to never vote to increase taxes. They should be aware the greatest tax on Americans is the inflation tax created by the Federal Reserve. They should be aware that Herman Cain worked for the FED, and Michelle Bachmann is a former IRS attorney. But most Americans don't take the time to look into issues that deeply. And alot of Tea partiers don't care that much about inflation and taxation its just talking points.

No it's not... not any more. Dr. Paul has separated himself more and more from the TEA party movement that he started as it's slowly been hijacked by quasi-Republicans & social conservatives like Palin and Hannity. I don't support what it's become for a second, but I do support Dr. Paul.

You mean support Ron Paul for President?

If that's what you meant, alot of us don't support him b/c he doesn't have the appearance/swagger he needs to win the presidency. Just look back at Nixon vs. Kennedy. Nixon lost based on his stiff appearance. I wish it wasn't so, but looks and public perception play into things.

The Tea party fans tend to support whoever Fox News is pushing at the time. Ron Paul isn't one of their candidates, so he gets less attention from them.

Yes, but Ron Paul has proven to be unelectable in a national election.

That's the exact type of question I usually ask.

Setting aside your grave error of fact, Ron Paul is right on most things but is evidently going through senescence. How else to explain his whole-hearted embrace and repetition of leftist LIES about foreign policy?

I voted Paul for President before he went around the bend, which he most assuredly has.
