Scholarships for white males only?

Thanks for finding this. I still think those female only scholarships (that ARE NOT from tax payers money despite what some say) should fade away. It does us a disservice. The same goes for ones for Italian Americans (yeah, it exists) etc. etc. etc.

Native Americans I'm cool with. I'm not getting into it but they are literally the only "race" I think should have their own scholarships.

Let me help bust the myth right now of White Male Scholarships.

Most of the merit aid out there is awarded to white males via the admissions process. And thats OK. Yes there are many scholarships that focus on an ethnic group. However their are not as many as you think. Most scholarships care little of race and more about qualification with regard to grades, scores, and intended career field or major of study. In fact. much of the financial aid I won during my hunt came not from ethnic based grants, but scholarships where race wasn't even a factor.

A few white male scholarships exist, but they are either sponsored by a group you wouldn't want to be tied to, or are eligible to everyone under the sun. Either way, impediments to winning scholarships are less an issue of race, and more about qualification and competition.

100% agree, we keep dividing people up more an more...just needs to stop.

Anyway if you do research you can get scholarships for pretty much anything, I did a little research before college and there were 5 different scholarships for left handed people.

I love the way the feminists cry sexism over a male only scholarship, but when it comes to a female only scholarship they call it 'liberating'...

Do you have anything in the way of set-aside Pro Sports positions (and salaries) for slow, late/middle-aged white guys?

Wow one whole scholarship. The student mentioned got a whopping $500. That will buy two used books. He's all set now! My nieces got full rides from women only scholarships.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MALES ARE NOT A NEW THING, THERE ARE MANY IN PROFESSIONS LIKE NURSING WHERE MALES ARE OUTNUMBERED 98-2.

BUT OVERALL, WHEN COMPARED TO THE NUMBER OF FEMALE ONLY SCHOLARSHIPS, MALE ONLY SCHOLARSHIPS ARE LIKE A DROP IN THE OCEAN.

FUNNY THING, EVEN FOR NURSING WHERE THE RATIO IS 98-2 THERE IS MORE FEMALE ONLY SCHOLARSHIPS.

More things done for others because of the color of their skin, that's exactly what we need.

I think it is a great idea. Every other minority has a scholarship fund. White males should also.
