once we have been made alive spiritualy we can never die again because of the eternal consequence with sins at the cross taken away forever, sin is the only thing that could cause death now they have all been taken away never to see them again. we live in a new covenant today hebrews 10:16, 18

What made me start to believe was when I started talking to Him for comfort and asked for forgiveness and thats when I realized how screwed up I was and how much He really saved my life.
