3 +- sqrt (9-8) / 2

3+- sqrt (1) / 2

so the two final answers are

y = 3+sqrt(1)/2 and 3-sqrt(1)/2

y = ( x - 2 ) ( x - 1 )

If y = 0 , x = 2 , x = 1
