Is milk that you add to cereal eaten or drunk?

Obviously the cereal is eaten, but does the fact that the milk is liquid mean that it's drank, or 'eaten' as part of a meal?

    Eaten if you spoon it into your mouth, drank if you hold the bowl up and pour down the hatch.

    The milk absorbed by the cereal is eaten, while the excess milk is drunk.

    Eating involves teeth chewing, any liquid is drunk, so if it's gone down you drank it, the liquid that is.
