Running out of breath before I get a good hit from this bong?

My boyfriend bought this new bong, it's actually really really big. Anyways, I usually clear the bowl with one hit, but it's so hard with this one ... Like I run out of breath before I can ... . Lol, I don't wanna look like a pussy here, but at the same time I have to admit I can't rip this bong. Advice? :P

Uhm it's not a matter of coughing, I'm a regular weed smoker lol, but I smoke from pipes

let allllllllll of your air out, just push as much as possible! and then inhale as quickly as you can (it will be much easier) i mean it might hurt more but youll get a good hit outta it
