The President has to sign the bills for them to become law. OH thats right the congress was too busy bickering to submit a budget the last two years.. But Obama did submit a budget - with spending so outlandish that it did not even get the support of his own party....

Yeah and Democrats have been in control of the House from 2006 to 2010.

From 1994 to 2006 the Republicans controlled the house.

Guess, what? Those tax cuts provided a boom for our economy and we had a budget surplus in the late 90's.

According to your logic we should give credit to the Republican house for the surplus, and not just Clinton. Maybe you're right, although Clinton did agree to the Republican proposals so I give Clinton credit for it as well.

The Conservatives do not run Congress. We blame Obama, Reid and anyone else who refuses to fact the fact that we are spending away our children's future.

authentic financial conservatives are not getting elected, the voters want social amenities loose and in easy terms placed human beings in place of work who promise to realize that. subsequently no Republican President because Eisenhower has ever decreased the widely used public debt, and no President of the two party has ever decreased government spending. to ensure that an exceptionally fiscally conservative individual to end something he could initially could be a place with the intention to do, and that isn't likely ever to happen.

Obama has the power to veto any legislation by Congress. Just like his predecessor, he seems to sign almost everything that congress sends him.

Obama signed the largest budget in our nation's history into law and it includes the unconstituional 'super congress' (super illegal)
