Can anyone locate this part or an adequate replacement (Impossible?)?
My stove, Jenn-Air Model CCE3401, had become cracked due to an unfortunate magnet incident. I had repairmen replace my stove top only to notice later that there were no indicators (1-10) for the stove temp. The part #71002463 (Backlight decal) has been discontinued by Jenn-Air. I have looked at alternative sites including eBay and other repair sites unable to find a part. Anyone that finds this will receive an email a week for a month praising your ability to use a search engine and compliments on being my stove top deity. My results have all ended in "part discontinued" with no adequate replacement available. Good luck.

AND if that venture does not work ... 2nd plan is to go to a ""graphics"" shop {{{ those guys do car wraps, small signs, and decals -- you would need an example or photo of where it applies and an approximate size .... the graphics store is a good place to get the decals made ... hope this helps you ...

Could not find your part but note that it is / was made by Maytag, a brief look at a video, link below, may give you a different oven part but one that is essentially the same;

Today I purchased an oven timer module. The original part was $280.00 + 15% GST. and there was one on the shelf, "Did I want it ?". The newer part made for another brand of oven but exactly the same overseas manufacturer $80.00 Inclusive from another supplier. Manufacturers manufacture more cheaply by re-doing / presenting parts like glass cook tops in new colours. I would be suprised if you could not find your cooktop again. In the video try Maytag MEC7430WB30.
