You should be able to connect the printer with the USB cable and have it work just fine Your macbook should have drivers to speak with it or you may have to download them via the web. When you connect the USB cable, it may ask you to search the web for drivers.
After the driver setup is complete, you can use the printer. When you disconnect, then reconnect later, it should still be in your printer list and you can use it normally with no more set-up.

That should be fine. All that would likely happen when you disconnect it is you might get a message telling you the printer is disconnected. Once you connect it again, it should be immediately detected and ready to use.

in case you have a working laptop or computing gadget, you are able to connect your printer to that computing gadget and then set up that computing gadget to share the printer on your community. Then use a on the spot router and you'd be waiting to print that way. on the computing gadget you will ought to enable printer sharing. Then on your computing gadget you will ought to establish that printer's driving force. this is how I even have mine set up.

Yes, should be no problem. The macbook should detect it each time it is connected and there should be no need for drivers, etc.
