You Can Join With Them You Must Get A Weiver For Them And That Takes Awhile Also Some Jobs Will Be Closed Due To The Fact That Your Tattoos Are Visible In PT Gear

That depends... you can possibly get a waiver, but it is up to the CO of that RS if they will allow it.
The CO here in RS San Diego says NO on any waivers bc the Marine Corps is downsizing and he only wants the best. Waivers mean something is wrong.
My husband is a recruiter and DQ people daily for this

Not with that tattoo.
If you are serious about enlisting in the Marines you'll need to visit a recruiter. That would be the perfect time to ask him that question. He could look at it, tell you that the tattoo disqualifies you, and you won't waste his time, our time, and yours any more.
Waiver is a dirty word with the Marine Corps expecting to downsize.

Yes you can, but your recruiter will prefer that you don't have one because it causes the recruiter, and possibly you as well, to do extra paperwork. If you talk to a recruiter and you don't have any tattoos, he/she will request that you wait until after boot camp to get a tattoo. Also, they don't want you to have any tattoos that are visible while in uniform, but this also will not disqualify you from the Marine Corps.

Depends on what you mean by big, fairly certain if it is smaller than your hand with fingers extended then it's ok. You can't have "sleeves", half sleeve, quarter sleeve. But, you can have a tattoo as long as it meets the standard I just described (size that allows it to be covered by your hand).

You can join and you will have to get a waiver. You will not be eligible for certain jobs once you get in, and you likely will not be eiligible for any commissioning programs based on the current regulations.

yes. you can have tattoos that are not gang or drug related. they have to be screened and might require a waiver. although there are places that you might not be allowed to have the. etc neck, face...
