What are some good "floating" shallow crankbaits?

Ya know, cranks that when you stop reeling they float back up to the top. Made of balsa. Anyone know any good brands of these? Preferably some that come in a red craw color.

Update:

@GMB: Wake baits go TOO shallow, I'm looking for something that runs 1' or more under the water.. I see a lot of baits on BPS, TW, etc but me being a novice at Crankbaitin' I can't tell which ones float.

Here is a list of my favorites. They all float and rise at rest:

    1. Norman, Fat Boy- http://www.basspro.com/Norman-Lures-Professional-E... (This is an excellent lure!)

    2. Storm, Pre-Rapala Wiggle Wart- http://cgi.ebay.com/STORM-ORIGINAL-SERIES-WIGGLE-W...

    3. Rapala, Shallow Shad Rap SSR09- http://www.basspro.com/Rapala%C2%AE-Shallow-Shad-R...

    4. Bandit, Flat Maxx Shallow- http://www.basspro.com/Bandit-Crankbaits-Flat-Maxx...

    5. Rapala, Shallow Fat Rap (they don't make these anymore but they are VERY productive- if you can find a box full of these you'd be a rich man OR have some great lures to fish with)- http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=rapala+shallow+fa...

    6. Cotton Cordell, Big O- http://www.basspro.com/Cotton-Cordell%C2%AE-Big-O%...

    7. Storm, Big Bass- (The newer Rapala, Crank'in Rap was designed off the specs of this lure. You can sometimes find these for dirt cheap at Walmart/K-mart/Sports AU/Etc.....they are very good lures.)- http://cgi.ebay.com/Storm-Big-Bass-06-Crankbait-GE...

Of course, Lucky Craft, Bombers, Strike King, Etc- but the above are cheaper (well, most of them are), work just as well 90% of the time, and are very durable.

    Hope this helps?

One of the best all time crank baits is the Bomber model A. It is made of plastic but still has one of the best actions of any crankbait ever made. The model A also is inexpensive and comes in many sizes and in the red craw color you are looking for. I have several with me at all times.

My personal favorite crankbait for shallow water is a Mann's Baby 1 Minus. they run at about 1 ft below the surface, have a nice wide woble and internal rattles to help attract fish. i've also used Bandit's Footloose lures, but don't like them as much because their actual running depth is about three to six inches instead of the 12 inches advertised. plus, the footloose doesn't have as wide a wobble to it as the Baby 1 does. i prefer the baby bass color to any others but i know that Mann's did make them in a red craw color cuz i bought one for my brother. you probably won't catch too many hogs with them, as the lures themselves aren't real big, but you'll bring in plenty of bucketmouths in the 2-3 pound range with them. good luck!

Why not just go with a wake bait instead?

You could try an Xrap. I know thery make a suspending one and I think a floating one as well.
