What do you think was the final straw?
Hey ladies & gents. With WWE turning PG a few years ago, what would you say was the final straw that made them make the actual jump to PG? For me, it was when DX was in the ring making jokes about 'cocks'. If you don't remember, check these links out

i believe it was heat from the Benoit incident. I also believe the Benoit incident is what sparked the Wellness Policy. Look back at guys like Sylvan Granier and Rene Dupree from La Resistance and Randy Orton in 2003 and 2004 they were JACKED back then. everyone was JACKED. now you dont see too too many ripped people more like the Miz and Alberto Del Rio. Sure they are still fit but no where on the same level as guys from the past. Even Chris Masters has toned down alot. his pecs look more like water balloons now than dinner plates.

I think it was actually Linda McMahon's Campaign run, they did know her opponent's would use the WWE's risque programming to attack her, plus WWE wanted to clean up it's image and appeal to a new generation of fans anyways, so they just made the turn PG, hoping it would bring in more fans and more sponsors and maybe not help Linda's Senate Campaign too!

I believe it was from the Benoit murder/suicide that WWE decided to change direction to a family friendly show.
