Runescape on a MacBook Air (Mid-2011)?
I was just wondering, does anyone have the newest MacBook Air (preferably the Core i5 one, but I don't mind which one you have) and play Runescape on it?
If so, how is it? does it lag? are the graphics good? can you install Java on it without problems?
Thanks!

Runescape uses java code, which is universally functional to all platforms. It shouldn't lag any more than any computer with similar specs. If you're running a core i5, you should have absolutely no problems whatsoever with running Runescape, so long as you have a decent amount of ram (2-4 gigs would be more than enough to suit the most intense graphical needs, for the most part). I run a core 2 duo on my desktop, and it runs Minecraft and Runescape without the slightest bit of lag, due to graphics.
However, Runescape has been known to lag due to latency issues, which has nothing to do with your computer's specs, but rather your connection to their server, since it is a browser-based game, and thus the vast majority of the computation is done via their servers, and not on private computers. A vital flaw, in my opinion, but they're still up and running, so I guess it works well enough for their paying customers.
Newer laptops don't have the same issues with overheating that older model laptops did, and so they don't slow down after being on for a fair period of time, like they used to. That is to say, if you've got the specs, it will work just as well, be it a laptop or a desktop.

Anyway, if you're still here, keep reading. I have a vivid memory of being 4 years old, ~~~ That's all I needed to see! You have some imaginary fantasy going on, and you expect (the gullible and naive, I guess) people to accept that this actually happened? Seriously? If you're going to call me crazy, don't answer. It's my belief. ~~~ Exactly! You can 'believe' in giant flying pink pigs in wigs with tiny purple bat-wings, just don't expect anyone capable of actual thought to accept such tales 'literally'! I can surely accept that you might 'believe' that actually happened. For instance, daddy might have swooped you from the floor from behind, leaving you with the 'feeling' (which is what you 'remember') of 'flying'...
