Department of Health requirement for MMR, is it legal?

This new requirement makes forced biological testing a mandate for continued employment.

I remember gettin Measels, Mumps. Rubella vaccination when I was in grammar school.

That was in 1965. Good luck finding those medical records. Now, to satisfy a new requirement I

have *no choice* but to submit to serological testing to prove my medical credentials.

What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Am I the only one who feels as if their rights have been trown under the bus?

Yes it's disgusting and in fact confirms that you are merely a slave with no rights over your own body.

Most medical professionals want to protect their patients- and themselves from harm. I don't know if it is legal or not because I don't know what country you are from- it can't be the US, because the mumps vaccine was not licensed here until 1967. If you are, you are incorrect in your assumption that you received these three vaccines. In any case, without a record you really don't know what vaccines you got. In 1967, (again in the US) there were several measles vaccines in use. One, a killed vaccine, was not as effective as the current live vaccine. As a medical person, you should know that two live vaccines are recommended for measles and mumps (either as separate vaccines or combined as MMR).

I don't have any problems with it myself. I know as a medical professional I don't have the "right" to put other people at risk and have gladly had tests for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity.

what the hell is wrong with you?

you're a doctor and you don't understand the importance of MMR vaccination, ESPECIALLY for medical personel?

If you seriously don't agree with vaccination, maybe you should go back an repeat a few cources in ID.
