Why can't Americans by the millions boycott companies that send jobs overseas?
The companies that send call center jobs etc. to India and other countries and sell us those services-can we stop it? How can we find out which companies outsource their jobs and those that don't? I want to buy the services of those who are loyal to Americans.
We desperately need the jobs here at home. Be loyal to us!

I try but with big box retailers like Wal-Marx, Lowe's, K-Marx, Sears all selling "Made in China" it is impossible to buy clothing made in the USA. 60% of all oil is imported. The Environmentalist don't want us to cut down a single tree. PETA says that animals are not food. EPA and Department of Homeland Security and fertilizer.
Tariffs on Made Overseas, Buy "Made in the USA" not just a past Made in America Icons, Levis, Wrangler, Hanes, Friut of the Loom but support those that do manufacture in the USA.

Because you wouldn't be able to buy anything because all major corporations are doing it.
Only government intervention can keep these jobs in the USA.
But the president's new jobs advisor is the CEO of a company that has outsourced so many jobs that the company now has more employees outside the USA than in the USA.
So what do you think the president's policy on job outsourcing really is?

Better yet, the Republicans should back off of their opposition to Democrats' efforts to rein in outsourcing. Republicans block Democratic efforts to keep jobs in this country. Democrats should publicize this more.
It is difficult for consumers to make these boycott judgments because even though some companies assemble products here, the major components are often manufactured overseas by workers who have replaced American workers. Also, some companies that want to keep jobs here can't compete with companies that outsource. There has to be a unified approach to dealing with the problem.

That will work on anything we buy.The problem is convincing the american public to go along with it.The dollar saving always comes before patriotism in this country. Most people don't care who makes their shoes, etc. as long as they are a bargain when they buy them. The companies are the same way.they look at the bottom line only.Loyalty left this country when we went global. If every industrial country have the standard of living as the US we won't have this problem. Not going to happen in the near future, but I still like your idea.

They can! Who told you they can't?
Are you sure you're not really asking Why "won't" Americans by the millions boycott companies that send jobs overseas?
Because that's different.
As to why they won't, it's because Americans like to buy things as cheap as possible but as to if they can or will... I don't know!
