What happens to a stock's worth when it is delisted?

Would the value be completely wiped out?

Delisted stocks continue to trade on the pinks sheets or the bulletin board.

A delisted stock still has some value. All a delisting means is that a certain exchange no longer trades the stock. A&P, the grocery store chain, was delisted from the New York Stock Exchange. The stock still trades, but on the pink sheets, which means it doesn't trade on a stock exhange. The stock still has a value, even though it is minimal (in A&P's case 15 cents per share).

Mostly yes, however they will still have some value on PINK. They are just gone from that exchange for example borders is now gone from the New York Stock Exchange however it is still on the PINK sheet list at a couple of cents
