The Bible does not require us to passively endure attacks from assailants. If someone breaks into our home or threatens our lives, we have a biblical and legal right to defend ourselves with deadly force if needed. However,There is a big difference between defending and protecting oneself from severe harm and seeking revenge. In Matthew 5:39, Jesus says, “But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other side also.” This principle that Jesus was teaching is that we are to do good to those who come against us, not seek revenge

True Christians do not carry weapons. Otherwise they are allowed to defend themselves or a companion.

Most Christians will say yes.
I agree on this point. Any human should be allowed to defend from any attack.

of course you can. if your defend yourself, or anyone, or anything you care about. if you have to knock someone out go ahead. as long as they attacked you.

Yes. In protection of family. Murder or death should be avoided if possible. So it is not open season on lawbreakers.
