3D surround, 590 or SLI 570s?

Just about a tossup on the performance. In some games one or the other has a slight edge. If I was making the choice I would go with the GTX 590 classified.

Better yet the 590 classified hydro copper. Note that both links go to AR series cards. I just love that life time warranty.

3D surround? Are you talking about a triple 3D monitor setup?

You will want 2x 3gb GTX 580 cards in SLI for this. 3 would be perfered. You're running a 5760x1080 screen resolution with three monitors. With 3D the frames are double rendered.

2x GTX 590 for quad-sli would be fine for this kind of setup because it would give you a ton of horsepower for the 3D part. But it doesn't have enough V-Ram for AA. This is why 3x 3gb GTX 580 cards in Triple SLI would be better.

On a 1920x1200 or less screen resolution, two GTX 570's in SLI have the advantage over a single GTX 590.

On a large 2560x1600 monitor the GTX 590 has the advantage over two GTX 570 cards in SLI. This probably has to do with the GTX 590 having more video memory at it's disposal. The GTX 590 has 1.5gb of memory per GPU (3gb total) while the GTX 570 has 1.2gb of V-Ram.
