Early Upgrade for Verizon?

I read online that you could pay a 20 dollar fee if you'd want to upgrade your current phone without paying the full retail price. My upgrade is on 12/6/2011 and I'm interested in the iPhone 5 (assuming it comes out before 12/6). Would I be eligible for an early upgrade? I'm currently on a family plan with 2 other people and I'm paying over 80 a month for service. We've been customers for about 5 years, if that means anything. Thanks!

I'm under my parents plan (I'm 13) and they have been with verizon since they opened and it doesn't make a difference. But you'd have to pay a $175 early termination fee, and the full retail price of the phone. If you're looking at an iPhone...that'd be quite a bit.
