  • I left my birth control pills in my car for about 7 hours. Should I be worried?

My birth control pill is Microgestin Fe 1/20. They accidentally got left in my car from around 330-4pm to 10pm in my purse and it was about 95 degrees outside, let alone the temperature in my car. I can't start a new pack because my new ones haven't arrived in the mail yet. Should I take Plan B? Or do you think they'll be alright?

  • Jackson Mystiques vs. Jackson Artiste Figure Skates: Which to invest in?

    Hi everyone!

I'm 17 (almost 18) and I am working in USFSA Levels Basic 4-8. I don't plan on moving up skating levels past Basic 8 (Waltz Jump).

I just recently traded in my Jackson Glacier skates. I'm looking to invest in new skates, but I've been debating between the Mystiques and the Artistes.

I was thinking of buying the Mystiques last year and I am kicking myself that I didn't. I don't want to invest in the Mystiques to realize a year later I should have invested bought the Artistes. I'm debating between the two because of the levels of ankle support. My left one is pretty terrible, it's been sprained about 8 times in my lifetime!

So please, give your honest opinions. I'm not going any higher than an Artiste, so please don't be like the lady at the store who was trying to convince me to buy Classiques or Freestyles for the extra money.

    Thank you for any help!

  • Birth control question?

I accidentally took two birth control pills in one day. Will think change when I get my period? I was supposed to get it today if that's the case.

Also, will it make me ovulate? My boyfriend and I had sex and didn't think anything of it, but he still pulled out before he ejaculated. (Yes I know there is pre-ejaculate).

Any help is appreciated. Spam answers will be reported. Thank you!

  • Cramping and bleeding during/after being fingered?

Okay, so lately my boyfriend has been fingering me. The last couple times, I've been able to orgasm.

Right as I'm about to climax, I get really bad cramps that also last for a while. This is the longest they've lasted, is probably close to twelve hours.

Also, I typically spot after for a couple hours. It wasn't bad last time, but this time it was definitely worse. We didn't know, and when he fingers out, it was covered in blood. Gross yes, quite a shock to both of us, since it's never happened during it, but he took it well, and was pretty concerned.

I'm on the birth control pill. No, my boyfriend and I are NOT having sex.

I am not having problems with producing my own lubrication, and his nails were cut short and were not sharp. My period was about a week and a half ago, so it shouldn't start bleeding because of that. He was also not being rough.

We're both stumped. We're not sure if it's normal, and I wanted to check here before I went and called my doctor, as it would be pretty difficult being in school and stuff like that.

Please do not judge - my boyfriend and I are being responsible, we are choosing to wait for sex, and instead choose to use manual ways to pleasure each other rather than jump into penetrative sex too soon, and have something we are unprepared for happen.

Thank you for any help, I will pick the best answer.

  • Help please! Who's quote is this?

"If you love someone, set them free. If they come back, it was meant to be."

I can't find out whose quote it is! I can only find Richard Bach's quote, which is similar, but I'd like to know who the quote above belongs too!

Ten points to the accurate answer who responds the quickest! I'll verify if you are correct, so don't give a random name! Thanks for any help!

  • Epsom Salt Bath Question?

Do I have to buy Epsom Salt specifically labeled for bath use? Or can I just the epsom salt I have for my fishtank? I'm just wondering if Epsom Bath Salts are treated to be used specifically for baths. I don't want to irritate my skin by using regular epsom salt if it has to be treated first.

  • Started the birth control pill , now my period's heavier?

Back in August, my doctor put me on birth control for irregular periods. My first period after beginning taking the pill wasn't any lighter, but they were shorter (3 days) Before starting the pill, my period was about 5 days from start to finish, Now, my period has gotten longer. lasting a week from start to finish. Before starting the pill, I used to be able to use a Super tampon and I'd have to change it after about 5 hours. Now I'm lucky if I make 2.5 with one of the same absorbency.

Should I call my doctor and switch pills? Usually the body adjusts to the hormones after like 3-4 months right?

Thanks for any help! I'll choose the best answer in 4 days, maybe before!

  • Would it be appropriate for me to wear a cross necklace?

This is more of a religious questions than a fashion question, by far.

Please do not judge me if my beliefs greatly differ from yours. Hateful answers will be reported to Yahoo! Answers.

However, I'm just questioning myself on whether it'd be appropriate for me to even wear a cross... because I have several differences in my beliefs than as to what is taught in the Catholic and other forms of Christian beliefs.

    1. I don't believe that Mary is a Virgin. Yes, I know that the main belief is the immaculate conception. However, I quite honestly don't see how it's even possible. I do believe though that Mary herself was a good person.

    2. I believe that Jesus was resurrected on Easter, and that he sacrificed himself for us but because he believed in what he was told, and that he sacrificed himself to help bring followers to the religion, and die as a Martyr. However, I don't see that as negative or attention seeking.

    3. I believe in the reincarnation of souls. The familiarity around people I believe has to be explained for a reason.

    4. I believe in Jesus Christ, God, and Mary, the mother of Christ. I also believe in the Holy Spirit (Ghost) and the gifts that are brought when one goes through Confirmation.

    5. I believe in waiting to have sex until marriage.

    6. I do not believe that birth control is a sin. I feel that because society is changing so much, it's better to be protected and only create a new life when it is the right time. Even in marriage, I feel birth control is appropriate when a couple doesn't want children at a certain time.

    7. I believe in the 10 Commandments, and that they should be followed, and be used as a guide throughout life.

    8. I believe in Heaven, Hell and that the way you live life will affect how you move into the next life, or where you go.

Maybe I'm more spiritual than religious, I'm not really 100% sure. But, would it be considering wrong or inappropriate for me to wear a cross? Or is the fact that I believe in God enough for me to rightfully wear a cross?

Thank you for any help, as well as for not judging me. I'm just trying to figure out where I stand.

  • Which type of wax should I use for this hair removal?

I wax my eyebrows, underarms, and the region of my face where hair grows that is commonly known as sideburns. My hair is more coarse than it is fine.

I have been using the Gigi All Purpose Honee Soft Wax and it doesn't work for me at all. The only thing it does is irritate my skin and then leave all the hair behind.

Do you have any specific brand recommendations? The only place I can purchase these products where I live is Sally Beauty Supply.

Thanks for any help! I'll choose the best answer!

Also: Please DO NOT leave me a bunch of info on Nair, Veet, etc. (basically any hair removal creams). I don't like those, they irritate my skin terribly, and they don't work very well.

  • What is a microphone capsule and what does it do?

Also, why are they sometimes purchased separately? Like some of them I see can purchased by themselves, and don't state that they are used with a specific microphone.

Thanks for any help! Sorry, these are probably some totally basic questions, but I'm just starting to look into them, and don't really know! :)

  • I have a few vocal/singing questions?

1.) Every time I sing in my head voice, I get a horrible headache, almost to the point where I feel like throwing up. And it's not because I'm out of breath, I don't feel out of breath at all. I've told my vocal coach this during my lessons, but they just say "keep going, you're fine." ?

2.) Is it safe to expand your chest voice and sing only in that? The chest voice I have now is very strong, and it feels very comfortable. I know that part of the reason is because I use my chest for talking as well. If it's not safe to do so, could you please explain why? All the pop singers you hear on the radios and everything all sing in just their head voice. And some have huge chest voice ranges that can go 3 and sometimes to even almost 4 octaves. I know the difference in the sound of head and chest voice, and even the developed head voices that sound like chest voice in a way still don't sound the same.

    Thanks for any help! :)

  • Does anyone know where I can get a necklace like this?

In Demi Lovato's music video, she's wearing a long cross necklace. I've been looking for a silver long cross necklace like that.

Here's the link to the video, pause at 1:03. It's not an amazing view of the necklace, but it's the best one I could find out of the video.

  • What is a good WATERPROOF DRUGSTORE MASCARA?

Hey everyone. I really would like to find a good drugstore waterproof mascara out there. I'll pay as much as $10.

So far I've tried the following over the past year:

    Maybelline Lash Stilettos

    Covergirl Lashblast

    L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes

    Rimmel Sexy Curves

    Maybelline the Falsies Volume Express

    Maybelline the Colossal Volume Express

Maybelline One by One Volume Express

    Covergirl NatureLuxe Mascara

I haven't really cared for any of them. So any other suggestions?

I would like to mention though that I really like Almay Get Up and Grow mascara, however its not waterproof. So if you have any suggestions as well that I may like that could be similar to the Almay mascara would be great.

Thanks for any help! I'll choose the best answer.

  • Eyeliner on my waterline, with contacts lenses?

I used to wear eyeliner on my waterline, and when I got contacts, it would flake off and get into my contacts. Well one, it's really painful and I have to deal with it for the rest of the day at school.

Are there any eyeliners out there that you recommend that won't flake off? I'd like to stick with drugstore brands.
