I have a few vocal/singing questions?

1.) Every time I sing in my head voice, I get a horrible headache, almost to the point where I feel like throwing up. And it's not because I'm out of breath, I don't feel out of breath at all. I've told my vocal coach this during my lessons, but they just say "keep going, you're fine." ?

2.) Is it safe to expand your chest voice and sing only in that? The chest voice I have now is very strong, and it feels very comfortable. I know that part of the reason is because I use my chest for talking as well. If it's not safe to do so, could you please explain why? All the pop singers you hear on the radios and everything all sing in just their head voice. And some have huge chest voice ranges that can go 3 and sometimes to even almost 4 octaves. I know the difference in the sound of head and chest voice, and even the developed head voices that sound like chest voice in a way still don't sound the same.

Thanks for any help! :)

    1) That's horrible, maybe its an awkward way your holding your head? Or maybe squinting your eyes or tensing something when singing falsetto. Try just calming down, dipping your head, and sing lightly. If not, then stop.

    2) Yes, obviously, chest voice is fine, I have a developed chest voice and sing with it. Panic at the Disco, Green Day, all those guys use their chest. Everybody did back in the Jazz Era, Frank Sinatra, etc... Jbeebs and Bruno Mars don't because they're more... pop. Pop style nowadays is about lightheartedness and high notes and stuff, so they sing appropriately. But develop a chest voice and sing if you want.
