Can't find minecraft single player map?

I want to move my single player map to my server, but I can't find out where the map is saved. I don't appear to have any folders. Just an icon that takes me to the game. Where do I go to find my single player map?

If you are running Windows, go to the start button, type run, and press enter.

A small window should appear, type %appdata% there.

Press enter and then open the .minecraft folder.

Inside this folder you should find the saves folder, then just copy the world you want into the same folder in which you have your server, and then write that world's name in the server's properties file.
