The quads are good enough, a quad with 3.2GHz is better than a 6core with 2.8GHz. Wait another year or 2. Advancements are coming so fast we don't need them yet.

actually the power of amd is with their price - power ratio.PHENOM 2 is definitely worth it.but for now not all programs support multi core.maybe just w8 for the 8 cores:)

is it good, yeah its pretty nice, but if you already have a an X4, then i would say you should be ok, of course if you want to upgrade, its up to you.

amds new 8 core(ish) cpus should be out next month, i wouldnt bother with their 6 cores at this point
