Are there any good alternatives to buying a mattress?

I move around a lot, and just moved to another state. I actually own a bed, but it didn't fit in my car to move here and now I'm mattress-less again. I am on a budget and also don't want to spend a ton of money on a bed if I'm just going to be moving again in 10 months. Right now my boyfriend and I are sleeping on an air mattress, but it loses air and isn't very comfortable. Has anyone found a good alternative to buying a mattress set? Are foam mattresses or memory foam pads any good? The idea choice would be something that would maybe fit in my small SUV next time I need to pack up.

Well since your on a budget maybe you could try getting a coach that folds out into a bed? That would be a 2 for one situation and you save money!! Those are really nice, and you can strap it to the top of your SUV. Also i use the memory foam and it is amazing! But you cant really sleep on it without a mattress because its too thin. Also you could try a cot since they dont take up much room and are inexpensive. You could put memory foam on a cot to make it more comfy!! Good luck and i hope this helps!!!!!

for convenience mattresses are the proper determination futons rarely have springs and don't provide plenty help and can get lumpy air beds are truly for non everlasting use, I slept on one for 4 weeks when I and had loads of aches and pains from it. I have been given an particularly soft mattress at Ikea for my visitor room and it became $40
