are there tv shows in israel that portray arabs / muslims as pure evil?

Israelis aren't so vacuous as to believe any peoples could be "pure evil" as some other peoples might do.

Some might have Arab antagonists, but I am unaware of one where all Muslims and/or Arabs are portrayed as evil. Keep in mind that Israel has a big Arab and/or Muslim population, plus a lot of people in Israel will not tolerate the demonization of that entire group.

Not really. If anything Israeli tv shows spend more time insulting Orthodox Jews than anyone else, same goes with the movies.

You cannot be serious . Have you any idea what Israel did to the Arabs in 1947 and for years after and you call Arabs pure evil. Its time you did a little look at Israels evil history and then you will understand the real meaning of pure evil. I make no apologies in showing you this link which shows Israel in its true light probably why Israeli TV has no wish to stir up these memories which in most Israeli minds are best forgotten

@Simple Simon I was not going to bring up the Gaza massacre were Israel killed 1,400 civilians including 340 children for the deaths of just 14 Israelis . That's a ratio of 100 to 1 and yet you say "As well as trying to keep to the minimum Arab casualties of war while endangering lives of Israeli soldiers."

I'm sure there's anti-Arab propaganda in Israel, and I'm sure it's a drop in the ocean of vicious anti-Jewish propaganda all over the Muslim world, both in content and sentiment.

Do you mean does Israel have shows like the ones on the Palestinian TV that show Jews as evil, that glorify martyrdom? Of course not. Seems to me that you are another misguided person.

@Wilbert. there is so much chaos when you are fighting your lucky if you dont shoot your own guys. im not saying killing civilians is ok. im just saying that in war, especially a place as densely populated as Gaza can be hard to avoid casualties.

no serious TV show will portray arabs as pure evil, some comedy shows might laugh about arab stereotypes, but they are comedy shows and they do the same about jewish stereotypes so there's nothing bad about it.

Well.. I can see where you're coming from, based on the question below you. But you're missing the difference. Arabs are the ones being oppressed and will, therefore, make shows based on their feelings to make the shows succesful, financially, because the Arabs will like those shows as they can relate to them. Israelis, on the other hand and whether you like or not, are the oppressors. There is no point really in making shows in Israel about how evil and oppressing their enemies are; shows to which Israelis people cannot relate. They know they are the oppressors, just like David Ben-Gurion knew it all along.

But I can point out shows in Israel that depict Nazis as evil.
