Religion is the answer to their suffering. Without suffering = No need for religion. So they self perpetuate.

We Christians believe that the fecal matter will enter the turbine in the future (time unknown). Atheists have a brighter and better future to look forward to until the end of their lives.

Because we don't believe in an apocalypse, aren't bossed around by a sky fairy and actually live in reality. We don't follow a story book like it knows everything.

Atheists live in reality and understand there are consequences for their actions.
Theists live in fantasy and believe they can do anything they want as all consequences for their actions will be forgiven.
