Help! How should I chop apples for this recipe?

I am making a homemade apple strudel

And it calls for 3/4 c. Of chopped apples...so chop them finely or chunky??

I always slice mine thinly for a strudel because they aren't in the oven for very long. Maybe 1/4 inch slices (I wouldn't chop). I'm not one of those people who like to eat a crispy apple anything that was baked in the oven. Cook it up!

    Good luck!

Depends on ur taste. But not to finely it will release alot of water.

I would do about a quarter inch dice.
