Are websites like gotickets.com legal?

A couple of days ago I was looking for tickets for the US Open and was shocked that no tickets were available on the us open site for Sept. 3rd and 4th. I then googled and came across this site gotickets.com. I ordered 2 tickets for Arthur Ashe day session for Sept. 3rd. Each ticket was $119. Then they charged about $54 processing fees and about $15 for shipping. The total was just over $300. I got my tickets today and noticed the face value on both said $67. Not only did they charge me almost double the face value but add to that they charged me processing fees as well. Is it just me or do other people also find it odd that website like these are still up and running (and seems like they are perfectly legal)? Quite clearly it's unfair that websites like these buy tickets in bulk and then over price them so much. Of course I've learnt my lesson and will buy tickets well in advance but I'm quite pissed that in a country like USA, no action is taken against these sites that indulge in scalping.

    Summary:

GoTickets is a decent place to search for and purchase concert tickets, but not the best option available, though the service is convenient and straightforward. The simple no-fee prices are certainly agreeable from a consumer standpoint, but are still not typically the lowest prices available. GoTickets is a clear-cut service, but the webpage is frustratingly slow. We suggest you start your ticket search by referring to a better online concert ticket service such as Ticketmaster, StubHub, or TicketsNow.
