I mean, I heard Bachmann congratulate Elvis on his birthday - on the anniversary of the day Elvis died! That certainly made her appear stupid to me, and the media had nothing to do with it. I've also heard her say that global warming/climate change is a liberal lie - when every reputable scientist in the world says that's not true. The media didn't say it, SHE said it.
