It will only seem hot if you come from the arctic! If you are from anywhere else you will think it is very comfortable or even a little on the cool side. The daytime high temperatures are predicted to be about 70 and the night lows in the mid 50s. Here is a link: http://www.weather.com/weather/monthly/98101

Most locals dress in layers. For example this is what I might wearor have with me when I leave the house in the morning: a t-shirt or tank top, then a shirt or blouse then a hoodie sweatshirt, a light weight polar fleece vest and a light rain jacket or windbreaker. On the bottom either jeans or shorts. It is handy to have a back pack to carry around the extra clothes as you take them off or have them available to put on. If you will be near the water (Puget Sound or one of the lakes) the breeze coming off of the water will make it feel even cooler than the temperature would suggest.

If you will be sightseeing and walking around town, be sure to wear comfortable shoes - there are lots of steep hills - not a great place to wear stilletto heels or flimsy sandals if you'll be doing a lot of walking. This year is cooler than usual, in the mid 70s during the day and dropping down into the 50s at night. You are better off going for layered affect in that wear light pants or shorts with a shirt and a light jacket. It can also depend on the temperatures you are used it, if it is in the 90s then you will be colder then if you are used to be in the 60s.
