Stuffy/runny nose and plugged ear?
I have had a really itchy, sometimes runny, sometimes stuffy nose and a plugged up ear for the past couple days. My ear is the worst when I wake up in the morning. When I blow my nose it kind of hurts my ear and temporarily unblocks it. I haven't been swimming in weeks so I don't think I have swimmers ear or anything. Could this be allergies? A cold? Thanks!

A blocked ear can be caused by a stuffy or runny nose as your ear sinuses, nasal sinuses and throat are all interconnected and a problem in one of them can trigger off problems in one or both of the others.
