Hebrew for the Old Testament, Greek for the New. The NASB is always praised among scholars. I don't know Hebrew, but I know a little Greek and the NASB seems to do pretty well there.

The most accurate English Translation is the Douay-Rheims version, for both the Hebrew (Old Testament) and the Greek (New Testament). It is not the easiest reading however. It is excellent for serious study, but not for casual reading. The poorest translation still in common use is the King James Version, with more than 3,500 translational errors.

The O.T. was written in Hebrew while the N.T. was primarily written in Greek.
