Should I get these piercings?

Recently I have been considering two piercings one small on my bottom lip on the right side and one on my tongue. I just want to know the possible risks. thanks :)

    No. Possible effects: infections, bad image, spitty and food encrusted grossness, lisp.

    Tongue is an awful place to pierce. They take forever to heal and they are trashy :(
