Why won't my computer play videos anymore?

I have a Vista Home Edition platform, with IE 9, Webroot anti-virus & spyware, It says download Adobe Shockwave Flash Object. I have done that and it is enabled. But still clicking on videos is futile. Anyone knows what's going on?

    You need to have a drivers installed according to your type of computer.

    I also had this problem when youtube videos played green. it just went away after like 2 days.

    Make sure your video card is valid, and your video drivers are installed. I would attempt to reinstall my video drivers.
