What beginner scooter would you advise on me buying :D?
So I am 17 and looking for a scooter at least 125cc for me to purchase...I am a beginner so looking for a beginner bike that's sturdy and will last me a while, I don't really want to be spending more than £1000 but I have no idea what good brands are or also what to avoid, also, I am looking for something light considering I am tiny and weigh 7 stone so I can't have anything too big and heavy...please help me out on what I could get I prefer the colours black and links will be thoroughly appreciated :D

Well, any scooter could be considered a beginner scooter. Your top of the line brand(s) are Vespa/Piaggio and of course the Japanese machines from Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki. Other good quality reasonably priced scooters are Taiwanese Kymco and SYM. Least expensive and many times of questionable quality are the many scooters of various names from main land China. Don't be afraid to look into a used machine, there are plenty of good deals out there, and if it turns out that scootering is not for you then you will not spent a pile of money finding out, good luck.

Pretty much all scooters are designed to be so easy to ride that they're all beginner bikes, although I'd think twice about any of the biggest maxi-scooters that weigh more than 400 pounds.
If you're in the UK your decision will partly be made for you by the MOT with their tiered licensing program.

i wasn't going to bother answering this but i have to put my tuppence worth in.
KYMCO and SYM, have a long way to go so be referred to as good quality, and as for the vespa/piaggio, common as cats piss and break down just as often, rubbish electrics and mediocre mechanics, although parts are easy and cheap to come by.
buy japanese, just my opinion but do your own research
