Hello Apostle Jack, as we be alert now and then we have been learning from each and every one and from every situation. So learning is ever continuing process. Even we may learn right from a child. This happened to me just one hour back. Let me explain in detail. I have learnt driving just one month before. I have been learning the related techniques such as the details of switches for sweepers, for head light close and far etc etc. But I didn't know about the way of operating the blinking light during day time requesting the opponent to come at little bit slower speed. I just wondered how such a quick on and off is possible. When I had that child on my lap allowing him to hold the steering, he just pulled the lever and I found the head light on just for that moment. Therefrom now I have learnt that needed technique. See even one year old child could be a Guru. It depends on how we are alert to observe the activities going around us. Very nice experience to share with one who has posted such a relevant question. Thank you very much, my dear friend Jack.

blessings to all. Yes I do, every day i learned some thing new. I'm a a professional a Spanish Teacher, each day i come up with some thing new for my Student and Co workers. i learn from my Students and others around me, not only in my place of work but else where. these are some things, that helps me grow wisely Follow the news. Information about what is happening in the world, why it is happening and the background behind current events is excellent knowledge to have in your repertoire. Read a daily newspaper either online or in print in order to keep up to date. Watching TV news can help too, but TV tends to give less background about events than a written report would.
2
Read classical literature. You will better understand various cultural references if you have read commonly cited works such as Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe, and having these books in your knowledge library will broaden your perspectives.
3
Read philosophy and science, or anything that makes you think and want to know more. The process of building new mental connections and expanding your horizons will directly affect how much you feel you know.
4
Develop and answer questions. If you have ever wondered about anything such as why food allergies develop or why the stock market crashed in 1929, search the Internet to find articles that answer those questions. Get into the habit of finding these answers rather than simply wondering why and then moving on to something else.
5
Take courses. Even if you are not studying for a degree, look into evening or online classes at your local community college. If there is a class you think sounds interesting, take it just because you want to know more.
6
Get into discussions with others. Hearing other people's ideas and responding to their questions about your own will give you a better understanding of other people's perspectives and can broaden your own in the process.

Do you increase in your knowledge everyday?
~~~ The new, critically updated, all inclusive, final definition of 'Knowledge';
"'Knowledge' is 'that which is perceived'!"
All inclusive!
That which is perceived by the unique individual Perspective is 'knowledge'.
All we can 'know' is what we perceive, Now! and Now! and Now!!!
Existence = the complete Universe = Reality = Consciousness = Truth = 'Self!' = God = Brahman = Tao = ... etc....
ALL INCLUSIVE!!
'One'!
Everything Exists! All inclusive!
Everything is Real! All inclusive!
Truth is all inclusive!
Everything is True! All inclusive!
Existence/Reality/Truth is all inclusive!
'One'!
That which is perceived exists. All inclusive!
That which exists is perceived. All inclusive!
Not a thing exists (notice that I didn't say that 'nothing' exists, 'cause it don't! *__- ) that is not perceived. All inclusive!
Not a thing is perceived that does not exist. All inclusive!
There is no, nor can there be, any evidence to the contrary!
Everything is 'knowledge'.
Every Perspective is unique every moment!
The First Law of Soul Dynamics;
"For every Perspective, there is an equal and opposite Perspective!"
There is no 'one-size-fits-all 'knowledge'. Everyone's perceptions are unique; some just a bit, others very much so.
"The complete Universe (Reality/Truth/God/'Self!'/Tao/Brahman... or any feature herein...) can be defined/described as the synchronous sum-total of all Perspectives!" - Book of Fudd
ALL INCLUSIVE!!!
tat tvam asi ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tat_Tvam_As%E2%80%A6 )
Everyone's perceptions/knowledge are inherently real features of Reality!
ALL INCLUSIVE!
Two people observe an elephant.
One can only perceive the trunk; "An elephant is like a snake!"
This is 'knowledge' to/for him.
The other can only perceive the leg; "An elephant is like a tree trunk!"
This is 'knowledge' to/for him.
One thing that they can do is to argue who is correct, as they both, obviously, cannot be correct. There might even be one who out-argues the other, even gets the other to discredit his own knowledge.
In this scenario, one doesn't learn anything, and the other 'loses' what he knew, replacing it with the same truncated understanding the other has.
Either way it is a lose/lose scenario.
Another more philosophically sound scenario is if they both attempted to understand the other's Perspective, the other's 'knowledge'; to understand the context where they are 'correct', and incorporate it into your own understanding.
Then you both would have a more complete understanding of 'elephant'.
Win/win!
All unique (Perspectives/perceptions) 'knowledge' is perceived by 'one' Consciousness.
All at once!
It is impossible to remain the same. Change is a constant. No matter conscious or unconscious. We increase knowledge to every level every day. Same is not possible in the environment we live in there is stimulation in the smallest forms everywhere we go. Even in our sleep the make up of our brains is ever changing. New nueral connections are created with every thought.
I think my knowledge increases a little every day. Kind of hard not to--I work at a paper and see the news in front of my nose. (!) I also like to read and have all kinds of college level books, and philospohy etc.. that I read. I used to watch Discovery but haven't been able to in ages...
But that said, it's not every day that I really look forward to learning..some days I just like to chill out, and let my brain just rest.
If you don't then it's because you're not paying attention.
If you are paying attention to what's going on around you, you can't help but pick little things up like Honda transmissions have no oil pan, blue and yellow lenses make green, but green and blue lights make yellow, crystal clear skies precede rain, don't play with paper clips next to the power strip on your desk...
It's pretty much impossible not to learn every day... unless you're an apathetic dope -- and I really mean that because they exist.
People tend to, although maybe not always in formal, academic ways.
