I want to pursue japanese.....?

I would like to pursue japanese but i dont have time to go to a regular college for that in new delhi..what i would like to know is about the courses offered in Japanese in new dlhi., I am a bit confused with the JLTP(Japanese language test preperation) course provided by nihongo cent re in south Delhi which is just a certificate program me that assures jobs after completion that i have no idea about, should i go for a diploma course to become a translator and what jobs an i go for if i complete my diploma
