Wall Street keeps working after the earthquake. Washington panics and evacuates, then closes down. Thoughts?

    Washington is closer to the center of the quake and had damage to buildings and even some small fires,flooding in some buildings due to broken pipes.But then Washington closes if there is a little bit of snow so maybe they just wussies.

    An interesting parallel to how they operate.

    But in fairness, the center of the earthquake was much closer to Washington than Wall Street.
