Are birthdays evenly distributed throughout the year or is there a seasonal pattern?

Birthdays are evenly distributed throughout the year. There are about 489,600 births each DAY. This is in the winter, spring, summer, and fall. If you have a Facebook you will notice that there are two or three birthdays every day. That shows that of your personal friends you have fairly evenly distributed birthdays. Of course this isn't always the case, there are millions of people in the world and you may know a lot of people with birthdays in one season or another but when you group the world together it will show an even distribution of birthdays. It was said many many years ago that there were more children born in September - November because body heat was a method of keeping warm back in the old days before central heat! What better way to stay warm huh. Dec., Jan., Feb, and March are the coldest months and more women got pregnant during those months. I cannot confirm or deny that statistically but it does make sense & if that was the case then it is certainly not the case today. :)

Most everyone i know was born in the June through August period of time, but I would imagine that if you could poll everyone in the world you would find that births are fairly evenly distributed.
