inconclusive pregnancy test?

I did a home pregnancy test last friday, one day after I was due my period. I have sore boobs and occasional bloating and very mild cramps in tummy and back, which I remember as normal from last pregnancies.

I did the test around lunchtime and it showed positive, albeit the test line was fainter than the control line. Then I handed in a sample to GP but it wasn't the first sample of the morning (had been to loo twice since 5am). The GP's receptionist then phoned me this morning to tell me the test was inconclusive and could I hand in another sample next week. I am guessing my Hcg levels were too low.

I just did another test and it is showing positive so i know I am pregnant.

Has anyone else had this and went on to have a successful pregnancy? i am petrified this means I will end up losing this pregnancy..

I think you will be fine!

It might just be that you are still too early in your pregnancy or just that you haven't used the

1st morning urin to hand in the sample!

I would just wait another week, let the hcg levels build up and I'm sure it'll show up positive!

    good luck

the clarification it may be inconclusive because of the fact each and every so often your hCg stages will linger after a miscarriage. although, my stages continuously got here dame rather speedy. With 2 of my miscarriages, I have been given pregnant and not in any respect had a preiod in between. surely, i'm pregnant splendid now. i'm 17 weeks. yet better than probably if your exams at domicile have been useful, you're in all risk pregnant. I in basic terms say this because of the fact those exams require a greater robust hCg point than those on the Dr's to return out useful and you're stages could desire to be under a 50 if your miscarriage grew to become into 7 weeks in the past... desire it is what you needed.

    Congrats on your pregnancy!!

The doctors tests are actually less sensitive that a home pregnancy test so cause it wasnt first morning urine it properly didnt pick up your hcg. make sure your next sample is your first moning urine and everything will be fine.

i think its just a case of you HCG levels being low as you are in early stages of the pregnancy, congratulations! and im sure you have nothing to worry about. the HCG levels will rise as your pregnancy progresses.
