Under our Constitution, Mr. Obama is President, duly elected in November of 2008 after many voters were misled into believing that (1) he knew enough about America to be President, (2) he loved this country enough to guide it as a President should, and (3) that he was the best candidate on the ballot.
It was my opinion between the election and the "coronation" in January of 2009 that Mr. Obama is not the man in charge of his Presidency. There has been speculation as to who is really running the country, but I am inclined to think that George Soros is prominent among whatever group is pulling the strings.
No it is not a sick joke, because it is not in any way funny. We have a chance to change course next year and I sincerely hope enough voters will see the light (and the compass) to bring that about.
Good question.

You misspelled President. The P should be capitalized when referring to President Obama's office.
And yes he will be the President until January 20, 2017. Try and remember that, and deal with reality for a change.

Rocketstar's use of capitalization is incorrect. His first use (by example) was not supposed to be capitalized. His third use violates rule 5 of capitalization:
Rule 5: Capitalize the titles of high-ranking government officials when used before their names. Do not capitalize the civil title if it is used instead of the name.
Examples: The president will address Congress.
All senators are expected to attend.
The governors, lieutenant governors, and attorneys general called for a special task force.
Governor Fortinbrass, Lieutenant Governor Poppins, Attorney General Dalloway, and Senators James and Twain will attend.

Yes; yes he is the President.

Yes he is. He was elected by the majority according to the Constitution. If you don't like the way the Constitution is written, move.

He's holding the office, which makes him president. The question, though, acutally is whether he is holding the office legally. Which has yet to be determined.

According to a poll taken in Chicago, yes.
