If this child is being sexually or physically abused and needs help asap, do the YA bigwigs have a duty to alert the authorities?Are they mandated reporters or do we just hope that someone intervenes?
It's not happening at my home, but someone on here just posted a disturbing question and the point is when do you(YA community) take the risk of reporting or not?

well this might not answer your question but my parents definitely emotionally abuse me and threaten me and threatening is against the law and nothing has happened to me so i dont think so especially cuz we could all be lying (im not saying that nothing is going on at your house its just that technically they have no proof that people on here are not lying)
