How to get rid of red spots on arms and legs?
When I was a teenager I suffered from moderate acne on my face. Now in my twenties, that acne has mostly cleared up, but I seem to have developed red spots on my arms and legs. How do I get rid of them? Would ordinary acne products work (I assume it's acne? It's little red bumps, and when squeezed they emit pus)? So far I have been recommended using a body scrub, which I have used with little success.
Thanks.

I have small red bumps on my arms identified as Keratosis Pilaris. You could have a form of this condition. There is no definite cure for it, only remedies that treat it for a short time. The good news is, It is not dangerous in any way, just an excess amount of keratin.

It's actually quite common. The red spots are most likely due to excessive keratin in the arms/legs - however it could be shingles, have you had chickenpox before? if not then that could be the cause. It could also be eczema.
Go to your doctor for a diagnoses.

To start, how are you shaving them, I guess with a razor, right? duh.. (but there r those that use electric shavers, so...) Are you using shaving cream, like u should, cause what u are getting is like an irritation rash reaction, and will go away probably the very next day, but what u should do is use a brand new razor with lots of shaving cream each time, and if u have an Aloe Vera plant, put some on immediately afterwards in the future!
