Diet to lose belly fat?

I'm looking to shed a few pounds so that way I lose my round belly. Here's a summery of me to help you help me plan one. I'm 16, male. I'm not over weight, only 138lbs at 5'8" but my stomach isn't as flat as i'd like it to be. I have the cardio part of losing weight because I run cross country for my schools team. I do about 5 miles on average per day, six days a week. Some days I run a little more. I don't eat healthy at all. Mostly burgers, chicken tenders, buffalo wings, etc.. I don't want to try the standard "Salad Diet" because don't get me wrong, I love salads, but as I said, I run cross country and salads don't give me enough energy to run well. So pretty much I want a diet that will help me lose the last of my stomach fat but yet still provide enough energy to run cross country well. Thanks!!

Running, jogging, cycling, swimming, dancing, push ups, sit ups, squats, brisk walking and power walking all help for weight loss but dieting helps more.

A belly fat problem could perhaps be due to Syndrome X (Metabolic Syndrome) and the required diet is a high protein, low saturated fat, low carbohydrate diet. You must consume protein with each meal.

The Syndrome X diet seems to be very similar to the high protein Atkins diet.

You can see further details on the Syndrome X diet in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oGkmmtGTp...

It's impossible to lose fat just from one area. Even if you do crunches all day to work your belly you'll simmply end up with rock hard abs covered in fluff. The body works as a whole, thus fat loss happens all over, though the stomach is usually one of the first places it can really show. As for pills, usually all they do is give you extra energy or make you feel less hungry, they wont actually get rid of the fat unless you get a bit active. An easy way to get rid of the belly fat: walk. Start walking 15 minutes a day, enough to get your heart rate up. Do this for a few days, then jump it to 20 minutes. Keep raising the bar every few days or once a week till you are walking a good pace for around 30 to 45 minutes. Don't worry about how far you walk, just worry about your heart rate. It's also best to do this earlier in the day if you can, as this will keep your metabolism higher, therefor you'll be burning more fat, (as long as your diet doesn't contain to many bad fats, calories, or carbs.) Figure a pound of fat is equal to about 3500 calories, so as long as your caloric intake is lower than that (no lower than 1200 to stay within a healthy range) and you are walking, the belly fat should disappear before long. A warning though, don't have unrealistic expectations, this can take time, depending on what percentage body fat you have. Picture a marble, and the swirls in it, thats how fat is in muscle, marbled, and the body will burn this marble fat usually before it goes for the excess flab, so a light toning routine can help speed the process as well.

Brightly coloured turmeric not solely makes your curries taste fab, nevertheless it contains curcumin, an active ingredient that reduces high-protein dishes, burns fat and holds back the growth of new fat tissue.

You might do easier to replace an occasional dinner having a nice roll in the existen. Healthy sex may help control the volume of food you eat and it really is great exercise.
