What exactly do we celebrate on Labor Day?
From what I can tell, we're either saying "yay us" since most of us work for a living, or we are praising labor unions. Either way, it seems a strange thing to celebrate. So what exactly are we celebrating?

the unique reason of celebrating exertions day grew to become into to honor people who toiled on a daily foundation to make existence extra advantageous for the rest human beings, usually the blue-collar type. those days it is an excuse to maintain each and every retail enterprise open as humanly feasible. lots for honoring the working guy. i'm caught engaged on Monday and it sucks (and that i'm the union steward, bypass determine) yet a minimum of i would be celebrating one extra day of paintings and eight hours of paid in the present day time and eight hours of time and a 0.5.

It's basically a day off for all workers.. celebrating that we work for our country and that we have work.
