Does Your Little One Do This?
My son is ten monthes old and he likes to feed things to people;he feeds the dog toys and crackers, he feeds me toys, he tries to feed his dad his bottle and sippies..it's cute, and I love that he's a good share-er,but why does he get so excited about it?We'll take bathes together sometimes, and we'll sit and he'll try and feed me his bath toys that are these little foam, different colored shapes. When I take the toy from him and put it in my mouth he flaps his arms and laughs and squeals. It's hilarious, lol. Why does he do this?

You feed him, now he can feed you. Endlessly hilarious to babies. It is just another imitation. My daughter is 15 months old and she still does it.

For several months he has watched you feed him things, help him with his bottles and then cups..So he is sort of reciprocating when it comes to food and drink. As with the toys and shapes etc..Like all babies,He has spent weeks and weeks investigating new objects and toys with his mouth and again is simply sharing this with you too..My little girl is 15 months and still does this all the time..and won't take no for an answer lol..Very sweet really! xx
